Butterworth Bros (Electrical) Ltd. – History

Butterworth Bros (Electrical) Ltd is a family business and was established in 1947 by Peter and Gerald Butterworth.  In the early 1950’s the company’s main clients were in the agricultural industry and based on this success the company soon moved on to include grain storage plants, maltings and distilleries located throughout the UK.  Also on the local front we carried out work for local health and education authorities.

In 1959 Butterworth Bros relocated to Terry Street in Hull and further expansion included work in the industrial and domestic sector.

Gregory Butterworth became a director in 1982  and continues to provide the same level of service.
